The Executive Chairman of Etinan Local Government Area, Hon Uko Umoh, has assured operators of Natural OilField Services Limited of adequate security as the expand their operational base to Etinan Local Government Area.
Speaking when he received the management of the company in his office, the chairman said Etinan Local Government Area is one of the most peaceful areas in the state suitable for economic activities.
“As long as you are bringing jobs to the youths of the local government, I can guarantee you peace and security all through the duration of your operations in the area.
“It is my hope that your coming to Etinan Local Government Area will open more doors of investment in Etinan that will give our people more opportunities”
He stressed the importance of integrity and transparency in NOSL’s engagements with the people of Etinan. He emphasized that genuine collaboration with the Etinan People and stakeholders is key to fostering local development and creating employment opportunities for the youth.
Earlier, the General Manager of NOSL Col. Sameer appreciated the chairman for his warm welcome and congratulated him on his victory at the just concluded local government elections.
He informed the chairman that NOSL is a subsidiary of Sterling Global Services and highlighted the benefits of the company in Etinan to the people.
The Senior Base Manager Engr. Fabian Said that they are expanding their base to Etinan and called for collaborations with the Local Government inorder to achieve great results.
The high point of the visits was the presentation of the congratulatory portrait to the Executive Chairman by the general manager and his team. Those present at the visits were Pst. Ubong Inyang, Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Base mgr. Mr Ubong Etti, CSO – DSP Martins, CSP( Community Dev. Programs) Emem Thomas, CRO – Samuel Gogo.
