“Don’t use your certificate to victimize your subjects” – Hon Uko Umoh tells royal fathers
The Chairman of Etinan Local Government Area, Hon Uko Umoh, has urged royal fathers not to use their position to victimize their subjects.

The Chairman gave the charge when he visited Iman Traditional Rulers Council at Nkana Iman Civic Centre to share with them the joy of the season.
“Don’t use the grace of God upon you to victimize and disgrace anybody. The certificate is for peace, unity and development not to victimize your subjects” the chairman declared.
He thanked the Village Heads for supporting his administration stressing that, he can never forget the people who stood by him from the very first day his aspiration was made known.
“The traditional institution in Etinan was the first set to endorse and adopt me as the sole candidate for the office of the chairman of Etinan local government area and that endorsement stood the test of time and I appreciate it till this moment”
“Today, by our performance in the last 14 months in office, we have not disappointed you and by his grace we will do more in the coming years”.
He also expressed sincere appreciation to the royal fathers for accompanying him to celebrate Etinan day at Christmas village despite the heavy down pour of the day.
“On the 7th of December you showed me love by standing with me in the rain during our day’s celebration at the Christmas village. Thank you very much”

Presenting the Chairman before the royal fathers, the Supervisor for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Solomon Akpan, informed them that the Council Chairman takes issues relating to the traditional institution as a priority which explains his frequent visit to the council.
