APC will accommodate all – Chapter Chairman

Hundreds of PDP members have joined the All Progressives Congress in Etinan local government area.

The formal movement took place at a meeting convened by the chairman of Etinan Local Government Area, Hon Uko Umoh.

Addressing party faithful, Hon Uko Umoh called for a level playing ground for all members of the party irrespective of their former affiliation.

He disclosed that joining APC today is added advantage for the people of Etinan as his administration is determined to attract development to our different communities through partnership with federal agencies.

“I will not tolerate in fighting and factions within the party. I want us to operate as a family. All of us are from Etinan local government area, we should be united and pray for peace, unity and development”

Hon Uko Umoh called for support to President Bola Tinubu and Governor Umo Eno in the implementation of their policies and programmes aimed at making life better for the people.

Welcoming new members into the party, the Chairman of APC in Etinan, Mr Israel Tommy thanked the chairman of the local government area for taking Etinan to the centre by declaring for the APC.

He described the day as a remarkable one for APC in Etinan and assured the chairman and all new members that APC will accommodate all.

He announced that very soon, there will be e-registration by the party and urged all to return to their wards and identify with the party.

The meeting was attended by the political leader of Etinan local government area, Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Uko Udom SAN, Obong Kenneth Okon, wife of the Chairman, Mrs Emily Uko Umoh, Rt Hon.(Barr) Aniefiok Dennis Akpan, and the political leader of APC in Etinan, Obong Ini Obot, Dr. Okon Emah, Lady Ime Eseme Essien,
Prince Enoch Udofia, Dr Anietie Atai, Rt. Hon Inemesit Itina, Dr Cosmos Udofot, Hon Pius Emmanuel John among many others including personal aides to the governor from the 12 wards.
