NULGE Declares Hon Uko Umoh As Most Worker’s Friendly Chairman

Local Government Employees in Etinan local government area have unanimously declared Hon Uko Umoh as the most friendly Council Chairman in recent history.

At a meeting of NULGE members at the Millennium Hall, Council’s Secretariat, the workers took turn to analyze his vision not only for the local government but also for staff of the council.

According to the workers who spoke at the meeting, the chairman has laudable vision for the local government in line with his vision to make Etinan a destination of choice. They pledged their administrative support to help the chairman achieve his goal for the local government.

They also recalled the 2024 Christmas bonus from the Council and thanked the chairman for prioritizing welfare of staff of the Council.

Chairman of NULGE in Etinan, Comrade Idongesit Essien admonished workers to be diligent in their work as recorded in Proverbs 22:29.

He reassured the Council’s Chairman, Honourable Uko Umoh, of the readiness of NULGE members in Etinan to support his vision of a prosperous Etinan Local Government Area.

The Director of Administration, Dr Isaac Udoaka assured workers that the Uko Umoh’s administration has good welfare plans for them. He urged them to do away with absenteeism and loitering during official hours.

In a vote of thanks delivered by the Secretary of NULGE Comrade Matthias Idiong appreciated members for coming out en masse for the meeting urging them, to put to practice the resolutions are the meeting.
