COPBSMI: Akwa Ibom State Hosts Maiden Ibom Social Media Day, Recognizes Tech Excellence

Mr. Thompson Nsisongabasi was recognized as the ‘Young Tech Entrepreneur of The Year 2024’ at the inaugural Ibom Social Media Day and Awards in Akwa Ibom State.

30th June, the world celebrated International Social Media Day, a momentous occasion that highlights the transformative power of digital platforms in connecting people globally. In Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, this day was not only a celebration but also a recognition of outstanding achievement within the local tech community.

Mr. Thompson Nsisongabasi, a young and dynamic entrepreneur, was honored as the “Young Tech Entrepreneur of The Year 2024” by the International Coalition of Online Publishers, Bloggers, and Social Media Influencers (COPBSMI) in Akwa Ibom State. This prestigious award was bestowed upon him at the inaugural Ibom Social Media Day and Awards ceremony, themed “Rebranding Akwa Ibom State in Contemporary Nigeria for Economic Growth and Sustainable Development.”
The event, organized under the leadership of Amb.
