Mr. Adeniyi Adeyemi the man at the centre of a fraudulent scandal involving the fictitious presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC) and the
chief of staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila has urged the Independent Corrupt Practices, ICPC, Police and other state institutions to stop embarrassing the presidency and Nigerians .
Speaking on Channels Television program, Politics Today, Mr Adeyemi Matthew also called on Mr.President to set up an independent committee to investigate the allegations against the chief of staff to the President.
“Let the president set up an independent commission of enquiry made up of foreign transparency institutions and civil society groups in Nigeria. I thank President Bola Tinubu for taking the first step but let him go further by setting up an independent body to look into this matter.
Adeyemi denied being a fugitive saying, he is ready to come out with facts if his safety is guaranteed.
“They want to silence me and kill the evidence by fire by force. They have gone to my aged parents in the middle of the night looking for me. My life is in danger. They are after my life at the moment”
He accepted paying the sum of four hundred million naira (N400m) to secure an appointment letter adding that, it was the same office of the chief of staff that facilitated all his high profile visit to state institutions including Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Deputy speaker of the House of Representatives.
“The office of the Secretary to Government of the Federation that gave me an office space at the Federal Secretariat. There were three federal agencies that were given accommodation at the Federal Secretariat that same day”
He also cleared the air on his absence from Court saying, he has appeared before the court four times between October 2025 and now stressing that it is only on one occasion that his case was adjourned on grounds of health.
