SUSPECTS AT LARGE AS POLICE RECOVERS STOLEN ITEMS DURING RAID IN UYO
A raid on an uncompleted building located along Plot 70, Unit ‘A’, Ewet Housing Estate, Uyo by Operatives of Akwa Ibom State Police Command has led to recovery of suspected stolen items.

A press release made available to newsmen in Uyo by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Timfon John, indicates that upon the arrival of police vehicles, the suspects fled the scene through the back door, abandoning a significant amount of suspected stolen property. No arrests were made at the time.
The recovered items include:
* Three split-unit air conditioners
* One Butterfly sewing machine
* Four and a half fathoms of wax materials
* Three door curtains
* Two Polo t-shirts
* One school bag
* Four new pairs of men’s native attire (up and down) and a pair of trousers
* One new black female gown
* Two white and orange jerseys
* One teddy bear
* Half a yard of plain material

Police are actively working to identify and trace the owners of the recovered items. The public is urged to come forward with any information that may assist in the investigation.
