The Chairman of Etinan Local Government Area, Hon Uko Umoh, has been applauded for transforming Etinan in his less than one year in office.
Speaking during a courtesy visit on the chairman in his office, the chairman of APC in Etinan local government area, Comrade Israel Moses Tommy, said the new Iman is possible mantra has been achieved within a very short time.
“At first, we used to see a new Iman is possible but today I can say it that a new Iman is here.
“Etinan of today is different from Etinan of yesterday and I want to say that you are our most valuable prayer”
Comrade Tommy thanked the executive governor of the state, Pastor Umo Eno PhD for joining the ruling party saying, the movement has brought the people together especially in Etinan.
He hinted the chairman of plan by the party in the local government to officially hand over the party structure to the chairman just as it was done at the state level.
In his response, the Chairman, Hon Uko Umoh, thanked the party’s leadership for coming to identify with the office of the Chairman of Council.
He commended the governor for his timely movement to the ruling party, saying, it is a sign of good things to come for the local government under his watch.
Hon Umoh assured the Party of his determination to brand the party in Etinan and urged the chairman to look for a central location to be used as party’s office.
“I want you to keep your doors open to welcome more people into APC. We are going to build the party from the unit to the ward up to the chapter level”
