Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has claimed his love for the job has kept him going into a ninth year.
Speculations claim Guardiola is likely to end his stint at the Etihad in June 2025.
The Spaniard is into the final months of his current deal with the Premier League champions.
However, the City board are hoping to keep Guardiola until 2026.
Speaking at a Puma block party near New York’s Rockefeller Centre, Guardiola said he was ready for an attempt to lift a fifth consecutive league title.
He said: “If you love what you do, why should I stop?
“I like it – as much (now as when) they hired me – so let’s go.”
