American R&B star, Ashanti, has revealed her engagement to renowned American rapper, Nelly and is eagerly anticipating their first child together.
Ashanti revealed this in an exclusive interview with Essence Magazine.
She said: “This new year of my life is such a blessing full of love, hope, and anticipation. Motherhood is something that I have looked forward to, and sharing this with my family, fiancé, and loyal fans, who have been so supportive of my career, is an amazing experience.”
Ashanti and Nelly began their relationship in 2003 but parted ways in 2013.
However, love’s resilience prevailed as they rekindled their romance in 2023, publicly confirming their commitment in an Instagram post on Ashanti’s birthday in October.
