UniBen leads race for Edo Cricket League with 7 unbeaten games

Few clubs in the Edo State Cricket League have played their 8th matches over the weekend as the University of Benin Cricket Club, (UniBen CC) enjoys the summit of the table after its 7th match with a clean sheet.

UniBen CC who are adorned with top batters like Eghosa Destiny, Destiny Chilemanya, and Miracle Akhigbe defeated Ambrose Ali University CC by 150 runs.

UniBen batted first scoring a whopping 210 runs and a loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. AAU CC chase but made 60 runs and lost all wickets at 15.1 overs. Miracle Akhigbe of UniBen won the Player of the Match award for contributing 88 runs.
