Akwa Ibom State Police Command, on routine patrol along Abak Road in Uyo, intercepted a Toyota Corolla with registration number BRS 03 AJ with suspected stolen items.
The driver of the car, identified as Ugochukwu Igwe, was taken into custody and is currently undergoing investigation.
The stop and a search of the vehicle was conducted which led to the recovery of several suspected stolen items, including:
• two truck batteries
• seven motor batteries
• several pieces of motor catalysts
• A motor condenser
• An alternator
Other valuable properties were also recovered from the vehicle according to a press release signed and made available to newsmen in Uyo by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Timfon John.
