Paul Ekpo, Kenneth Okon, Samuel Ikon, Ors Mobilize Support For Uko Umoh, PDP
Visiting PDP delegation from the state led by Mr Harrison Ekpo, deputy state chairman, has been assured of total victory for the chairmanship candidate and the 12 Councillorship candidates of the party.
Speaking when the PDP came to Etinan as part of its local government tour ahead of October 5th local government elections, Obong Paul Ekpo described Etinan as a strong hold of PDP.
Obong Ekpo who represents Etinan Federal Constituency at the National Assembly and a former two term chairman of PDP in the state also said aspirants to various offices on the platform of PDP have put the nomination experience behind them and have joined the PDP train with Uko Umoh as the flag bearer.
Also speaking, the political leader of Etinan Local Government Area, Isantim Kenneth Okon described the PDP Chairmanship candidate as the executive chairman of Etinan daring other political parties to fault him on Saturday during the local government elections.
“Let me thank the governor of Akwa Ibom state for giving us a marketable product in Etinan, the choice of Uko Umoh has made the campaign easier for PDP in the area” he declared.
On his part, the chairman of the PDP local government campaign, Pastor Samuel Ikon said the PDP had gone round the 12 wards and the team was well received by the people.
In nine months as the transition committee chairman, Hon Uko Umoh was tested and he demonstrated capacity to lead the local government as its executive chairman.
“As the election is approaching, we know some people have bought forms and expressed interest for the same office, it is normal but PDP in Etinan will win 12 Councillorship seats as well as the Chairmanship position” the 9th speaker of Akwa lbom State House of Assembly declared.

The rally gathered party supporters, stakeholders from the 12 wards to Etinan Council Secretariat. High point of the event was the presentation of flags to the 12 Councillorship candidates by the state deputy chairman of PDP, Mr. Harrison Ekpo.
