MASTER PROMISE ANIEDI SUNDAY EMERGES OVERALL BEST STUDENT AS ST BRIAN MODEL COLLEGE GRADUATES 51 STUDENTS

A total of 51 Students were sent forth at the 20th graduation awards ceremony of St Brian Model College, Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.
At a colourful graduation ceremony held at Knight of St
John’s Hall on Saturday 26th July 2025, saw the emergence of Master Promise Aniedi Sunday as the overall best graduating student.
In a valedictory speech, Master Promise Aniedi Sunday likened their stay at Saint Brian Model College to the refining process that turns an impure gold into costly jewels to be presented to the society.
“I can still recall our first day in this institution where were like impure gold but through the years due to academic pursuit and formation, we have been tested by fire and now we have been formed into costly jewels to be presented to the society”
He charged his fellow graduands to be good ambassadors of the institution in the larger society holding dear the detects and norms instilled in them by the institution.
“To my fellow graduands, as we move to the next phase of life, let us not forget the detects and norms which have been instilled in us by our teachers and formators, let us not join the multitude to do the wrong, let us stand out as ambassadors of our alma mata”
Master Promise Aniedi Sunday also emerged best behaved student, best student in languages, best student in English language. He also emerged co winner of Mr. Ignatius Ibanga and family award as well as HOD Science Award as best in Agriculture Science.
In a chat with National Witness, the parents Mr. &Mrs Aniedi Sunday Nsekpong thanked God specifically for seeing their son through secondary education in good health and an excellent result to show for the six years academic sojourn at Saint Brian Model College.
Master Promise Aniedi Sunday is from Mbioto Ekpene Ituen, Etinan Local Government Area. His career ambition is medical profession.
The theme of the 20th graduation ceremony was Jubilee Journey: Shaping Tomorrow’s Visionaries.
