ISANTIM OKON EMERGES DEAN COLLEGE OF PERSONAL AIDES TO GOVERNOR UMO ENO

In a bid to shore-up productivity and coordinate delivery of programmes and policies in the ARISE Agenda, the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno has appointed the Honourary Special Adviser and Commander Ibom community watch Isantim Kenneth Okon as Dean College of Advisers.

Governor Umo Eno made the pronouncement during the inauguration of over forty Honorary Advisers at the Banquet Hall of the Government House, Uyo, where he charged them to bring their best to the service of the state and administration.

Acknowledging their previous contributions to the development of the state as justification for their new assignments, the State Chief Executive while highlighting the rules of engagements, sued for collaboration between them and their coordinating ministries.

Speaking to journalists after the inauguration, the newly appointed Dean College of Advisers, Isantim Kenneth Okon, appreciated Governor Eno for the confidence reposed in him and his colleagues, and promised to make the best from the opportunity in the service of the state.

Okon described security as pivotal to development and assured that the Ibom Community Watch under his supervision will fast track socio-economic development of the state by mobilizing the people to embrace peace in every community.

He called on all well meaning citizens of the State to partner the government in deepening and sustaining the current pace of development which he said has been all-inclusive and warned that there would be no safe haven for criminals in the state.

The event which was attended by all Aides and appointees of the Government also witnessed the inauguration of Hon. Anietie Ekah as Chairman Uyo Capital City Development Authority (UCCDA)
