“The situation above has occasioned and brought about untold hardship to the people, farmers cannot convey their farm produce to the market, schools are closed, hospital and health clinics cannot be accessed, pregnant women are compelled to patronize traditional birth attendants, life expectancy is low, morbidity and mortality rates are high. People are helpless and hope is far from sight without prompt intervention by our amiable Governor in the Arise
Agenda.” He said.

situation of the road. He therefore, called on Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly through the House Committee on Works and Transport; and the House Committee on Rural Development and Public Utilities to, as a matter of urgency, visit and undertake inspection of the road and appraise the condition of the affected communities. He also called on His Excellency Pastor Umo Eno, Governor of Akwa Ibom State
