Gov Umo Eno delivers 116 developmental projects in Uyo Federal Constituency

In just two years in office, Governor Umo Eno, has announced the completion of 116 developmental projects in the four local government areas of Uyo Federal Constituency.

At a town square meeting for Uyo federal constituency held at Ibom hall ground, Uyo, the governor said the projects covers education, health care delivery, tourism, road infrastructure as well as housing.

The Town square meeting which started earlier in the year is aimed at gathering inputs for the 2026 budgets and at the same time present the governor’s scorecard to the people.

” I thank the people of Uyo Federal Constituency for their massive support. Your documented needs have been received, and I assure you they will be addressed in the 2026 People’s Budget,” Governor Eno pledged, adding that more female youths will benefit from the next phase of Ibom LED skills training.

Reaffirming his grassroots development commitment, Governor Eno announced and disbursed ₦492 million in cash and equipment to thousands of micro, small, and medium-scale entrepreneurs. 162 beneficiaries received vehicles, mini-buses, and assorted business tools, while several business owners received ₦5 million cheques each.

The Town square meeting which was not devoid of political colorations also featured the adoption of Governor Umo Eno and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the sole candidates of the federal constituency in the 2027 general elections.

Goodwill messages came from the senator representing Akwa Ibom North East Senatorial district, Senator Aniekan Bassey, members of the state executive council from the federal constituency, local government chairmen from the federal constituency as well as the traditional rulers from the federal constituency.

Motion for the adoption of the Governor and President as sole candidates in 2027 was moved by Rt. Hon. Mark Esset and seconded by Hon. Ubong Attah.
