Etinan Council Chairman Assures Of More Life Touching Projects As Executive, Legislative Council Meet

Members of the Executive and Legislative Councils in Etinan Local Government Area have met to chart the way forward for the development of the local government.

The meeting held in the office of the Chairman of Council had in attendance the Vice Chairman, Hon Imaobong Michael, Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon Ekerete Umoh, Secretary of Council Hon Idorenyin Udo, Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Pastor Ubong Inyang, Dean College of Supervisors, Hon Anthony Eboh and all the Councilors and Supervisors.

The Chairman of Council, Hon Uko Umoh, in his remarks called for synergy between the Legislative and Executive Council for the speedy development of the area.

Hon Uko Umoh assured of more projects in the local government stating that, very soon, the council will embark on commissioning of projects in various communities.

“We have electricity projects to commission and we have water projects that have been completed. Let us work together and bring development closer to our people in our communities” the council boss declared.

In his remarks at the meeting, the leader of the Legislative Council Hon Ekerete Umoh thanked the chairman for bringing members of the legislative and executive council together to chart the way forward for the local government.

The Leader also thanked the Chairman of Council for projects spread across the 12 wards especially in the grading of rural roads in various communities.

Also speaking, the Dean, College of Supervisors, Hon Anthony Eboh assured the Chairman of the total support of all supervisors towards the realization of his vision for the local government
