The Management and Staff of the Akwa Ibom Investment Corporation (AKICORP) have extended condolences to their Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO), Mr Imo-Abasi Jacob on the passing of his brother, Mr. Aniefiok Akpan Udoekpo.
According to his biography, the late Mr. Udoekpo was a devout Christian, dedicated politician, and loving family man, who would mostly be remembered for his generosity and kindness.
On behalf of AKICORP management and staff, the Executive Director, Agricultural Investments, Pastor Godwin Ukwat signed a condolence message acknowledging the family’s pain and urging them to find comfort in God’s words.
During the funeral service, held at Achan Ika, Ika Local Government Area, and officiated by the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Lily of the Valley Area, the preacher, Pst Amusire Adeyele emphasized the inevitability of death and the importance of living a life pleasing to God to ensure eternal rest in heaven.
The event which took place at the deceased compound had in attendance, the AKICORP family, the Managing Director, Ibom-led, Mrs Ekaete Umoh and staff, champion brewery representatives, the Ika political class, the church, friends and well-wishers.
