Abia Comets Football Club appoints Engr Kelechi Orji Nnorom as Sporting Director
Renowned talent developer Engr Kelechi Orji Nnorom has been appointed Sporting Director of the Abia State Nigeria National League (NNL) Side, Abia Comets FC.
The 35 year old Sports administrator has had huge success in the last few years in talent identification and exposure and has discovered more than 40 young Nigerian talents from the streets of Abia, and other parts of the country from grassroots’ football level to the professional game at home and abroad.
His products have gone ahead to represent the national team at the Under 17, Under 20 and Under 23 level.
He is widely travelled and has been in the forefront of youth development in the country.
He was part of the Nationwide league (NLO) delegates to the United Kingdom who were on a study tour to several UK football clubs in 2020.
He is an alumni of several sports programs/courses both within and outside Nigeria, he has a working relationship with several reputable sports organizations across the world like Elite project group in the United Kingdom, IFM-M Czech Republic, H.O.L.M football in Romania, CAS Sporting, MTA Group Italy, Universal trade Croatia, AK10 Slovenia amongst others.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree(B.Engr Civil) From Micheal Okpara University Umudike.
