He called for similar support as he goes into the election assuring that he holds no grudge against those who did not support his aspiration.

Hon Uko Umoh enjoined his supporters to build bridges across party lines, warning against writing or making statements that will inflict reputational damage on perceived opponents, political stakeholders or cause division in the area and called on different political blocs to join hands with him in repositioning the local government for the benefit of all.

“Let me sincerely commend everybody who left his or her duty post and chores to accompany me to the PDP secretariat.

“The presence of my Political Leader, Isantim Kenneth Okon, former Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Samuel Ikon, my House of Assembly member, Hon. Uduak Ekpo-Ufot, ward leaders and other party men is a big boost for me.

“Whatever happened at the twilight of my emergence were normal political intrigues that should not be viewed through a wrong prism. Etinan belongs to all and we must do everything to make people have a feel of government at the grassroot.

“My supporters should learn to accommodate divergent views from people without throwing insults at them. I am not given to insulting people and I will not support anybody who does that in the name of defending me.” Uko Umoh said.
